We’ve added support in our API for most of the most popular business functionality that are also simple to implement for any app or solution.
Create a new contact portal
With a single API call you can create a new portal for a contact – We will add the contact to the DropVault contact manager, create the portal and return it’s ID to you
We can optionally also send a notification to the contact informing them of a new message or document has been added.
Add a new message to an existing portal
With formatting and links and include up to 10 documents. We will encrypt and store the message and documents in the contacts portal.
If the portal does not exist we will add the contact to the contact manager, create their encryption key and then create their portal. Any documents passed with also be encrypted and then added to the portal and saved on the storage of your choice (Our cloud storage or your AWS S3 or Azure storage)
We can optionally also send a notification to the contact informing them of a new message or document has been added.
Upload documents to a portal for sharing
Upload up to 10 documents to a portal. We will encrypt and store the documents in the portal and save on the storage of your choice (your AWS, Azure or other)

Trigger a new message notification for a contact
Send a new email notification from DropVault informing the contact that there are new documents or messages withing in their portal.
Your contacts can access their portal using a pin-less link (contained in the email notification), a pin requried link or sign in with their GMail, Microsoft or Office 365 credentials.
Suspend access to a portal
Immediately suspend and prevent access by a contact to their portal.
Generate a new contact access pin or password
Generate and set a new portal access password or pin and return it back to your app.
Get a portal access link
Retrieve an access link to a specific portal. This can then be shared via your app or solution directly with your contact.
